Space Mining Vessel underwater environment
Photoshop
September 2009

First off let me acknowledge Thierry Jacquot and Martino Zegwaard for allowing me to use their photos in this! Please note their details next to the image.

This a further environmental concept for "The Twins" scifi horror project: the interior of the space mining vessel has a dirty water environment in it's bowels. Crew have to suit-up to enter the toxic enviro where dirty water, some sewage and waste has accumulated.

The image is concerned with exploring color palette and machinery which may have been overwhelmed by the water. Essentially a little-used area it is necessary to venture through the space to move to areas beyond it - there is no way round!

I'd be pleased to receive crits of all nature for this - I decided to investigate a vertical composition for a change, although it started out horizontally I flipped it at some stage and decided that the result was heading more towards what I was after: I think I could have created more water distortion but felt that at this point I wanted to see the elements within the space: I feel that there definitely could be more light-play though.

Thanks for looking!
